Ernie Pollitzer, the owner of Clean Energy Consultants near Atlanta, Georgia, is a licensed, professional engineer with more than 35 years of experience in the environmental field. Since 2009, Mr. Pollitzer has worked in the renewable fuel industry with a variety of stakeholders in a number of different areas:

• Performed over 250 Engineering Reviews required for renewable fuel producers to become registered in the EPA RFS Program
• Have performed verifications for different renewable fuel pathways in the California Low Carbon Fuel Standard (LCFS) Verification Program.
• Have performed Carbon Intensity (CI) modeling for a variety of renewable fuel facilities. This modeling work ranged from assisting in initial project development to helping producers with CA LCFS registration.
• Have conducted performance reviews of renewable fuel facilities to help improve efficiencies and achieve lower CI scores.
• Certified International Sustainability and Carbon Certification (ISCC) auditor and has performed ISCC audits at renewable fuel facilities.
• For biogas projects, has developed initial Feasibility Studies to help determine mechanics and economics of the project.

Mr. Pollitzer has a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Purdue University and a Masters of Science in Civil & Environmental Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology.
